‘Worth it!’ Programme

What is the ‘Worth It!’ Programme?

‘Worth it!’ is a bespoke programme written by Engage Trust UK, to help schools and other organisations meet the growing challenges around self-worth, self-esteem, and mental health. It runs as weekly group sessions, alongside one-to-ones, to introduce some of the biggest issues facing individuals, but particularly young people today. These issues include identity, influence, conflict, perseverance and endurance.

How?

The ‘Worth it!’ programme sessions link together and build upon each other, helping the young people understand how our past impacts our present and future, both positively and negatively. Helping practically and mentally and equipping young people to deal with past experiences and handle present and future challenges, through understanding that they are in control of their choices. The programmes provides tools and truths to make good decisions, even in the toughest of times.

We want to develop the following:

  • A new sense of identity and purpose for young people and others
  • Increased mental and emotional intelligence
  • Improved self-esteem and a renewed sense of hope
  • Be resourced and equipped to grow through challenges
